Srinagar, 16 Oct 2023: Hurriyat leaders, addressing the ongoing challenges in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, have stressed the importance of unified efforts to seek the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in alignment with United Nations resolutions. As per the Kashmir Media Service, prominent leaders like Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Farooq Ahmed Tawheedi, and Narender Singh Khalsa have vocalized their concerns regarding India’s actions in the region, specifically referencing the decision on 5 August 2019. They have further appealed to the UN to recognize and address India’s actions in Kashmir in accordance with existing resolutions and international laws.
