Srinagar: Hurriyat leaders in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir have reiterated their commitment to the region’s struggle for self-determination, a right they claim is supported by United Nations resolutions.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in statements issued from Srinagar, the leaders declared the Kashmiri movement for freedom a globally recognized just cause, firmly rooted in international law. They criticized Indian government efforts to label their actions as terrorism, asserting that these accusations would not deter their mission. The leaders called for international recognition and support for their cause, emphasizing the necessity of a plebiscite under UN oversight.
The Hurriyat leaders stressed that despite India’s violent tactics in the region, their resolve to achieve self-determination remains unshaken, appealing to the international community to back their legitimate aspirations for freedom.
