Hurriyat Leaders Laud Pakistan’s Support for Kashmir Cause


Srinagar, Senior leaders and organizations of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, including Agha Syed Hasan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, have extended their gratitude towards the government and people of Pakistan for their unwavering support of the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination. This acknowledgment comes amidst ongoing efforts to highlight the Kashmir issue on a global platform.



According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued from Srinagar, Agha Syed Hasan Al-Musawi Al-Safvi emphasized the significance of Pakistan’s voice for the Kashmiri people, particularly noting the annual observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5. He stressed the critical need for resolving the Kashmir dispute to achieve sustainable peace in South Asia.



Further solidarity was expressed by the Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement Qazi Imran, alongside Haji Arif, Khawaja Ayaz, Sarfaraz Raja, and Abdul Ghani Lone. Through a joint statement, they highlighted the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people in their quest for justice and freedom, acknowledging Pakistan’s role in amplifying Kashmir’s plea for international recognition and support.



The leaders reiterated the enduring motto of their late leader Shaheed Syed Ali Gilani, “We are Pakistanis, Pakistan is ours,” vowing to persist in their struggle for Kashmir’s liberation.



Additionally, Vice Chairman of the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, remarked on the indispensable support extended by Pakistan to the Kashmiri cause. The observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day was underscored as a gesture to honor the resilience of the Kashmiri people and to draw international attention to the dire situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.



Mushtaq-ul-Islam called on the international community to recognize the severe atrocities faced by Kashmiris in the occupied territory and to acknowledge Pakistan’s political, diplomatic, and moral support towards the freedom of Kashmir.



These statements collectively highlight the gratitude of Kashmiri leaders and organizations for Pakistan’s all-out support of their cause, reinforcing the call for a just resolution to the Kashmir dispute in line with the aspirations of its people.
