Lahore: Leaders from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) AJK Chapter and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) convened in Lahore to deliberate on the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and to plan for the upcoming Pakistan Accession Day rally.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC delegation, headed by Secretary General Advocate Parvez Shah and including Sheikh Yaqoob, met with the President of PPP Lahore. During the meeting, they detailed the current hardships faced by Kashmiris under Indian administration and discussed strategies to highlight these issues internationally.
The Hurriyat leaders extended an invitation to the PPP representatives to join a rally scheduled for July 19, 2024, which will proceed from Masjad e Shuhada to the Punjab Assembly. The rally is organized to observe Pakistan Accession Day, marking solidarity with the Kashmiri cause.
The PPP leadership, including prominent members like Gulam Abbas Mir, Afnan Sadiq Lone, and others, accepted the invitation and committed to participating in the event, signaling a united front in support of Kashmir.
