Hub: Hub district joined the rest of Balochistan in observing Kashmir Exploitation Day with a significant rally organized by the District Administration to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. The event highlighted local and global calls for action against the Indian government’s policies in Kashmir.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Hub Ruhana Gul Kakar initiated the rally that traversed the main N25 highway, drawing participation from scholars, local government representatives, businessmen, and members of civil society. The rally was marked by slogans and speeches emphasizing the resilience and struggles of the Kashmiri people.
During the rally, a meeting took place in front of the Municipal Rest House where Chairman Hub Civil Society Hazrat Maulana Yakub Sasoli addressed the gathering. He described August 5 as a dark milestone in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, criticizing the Indian government’s actions as detrimental to the Kashmiri populace and contrary to democratic values. Maulana Sasoli called on the United Nations and the Security Council to enforce resolutions and end the oppression in both Kashmir and Palestine, underscoring the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India, which has persisted for five years.
The event underscored the ongoing support from the people of Hub for the Kashmiri cause and their commitment to advocating for international intervention and the resolution of the crisis as per global mandates.
