House raids, torture by Indian troops trigger protests in Pulwama 

Srinagar, September 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people flouting restrictions came out of their houses and staged protests against stepped-up Indian state terrorism in Pulwama district. The protesters said that Indian troops and paramilitary forces’ personnel barged into the houses and ruthlessly beat up inmates including the family of a martyred man in Tral area of the district. Despite Indian military siege, people took to the streets and shouted pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. They raised “Go India Go Back” slogans.

The victim families talking to media men said that Indian troops entered the houses, last evening, ruthlessly beat the inmates and disgraced women and ransacked property. The troops assaulted the daughter of the martyred man. She was admitted in to a local hospital in Tral.

The protesters urged world human rights bodies and peace loving countries to come forward and resolve the Kashmir dispute and save people of Kashmir from falling prey to Indian Hindutva designs. Meanwhile, Indian troops during cordon and search operations arrested three people in Pulwama and Srinagar areas.
