Hindutva in India and Zionism in Israel two faces of same coin: APHC-AJK

Islamabad, May 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter organized a seminar at its office in Islamabad, today, on final report of India’s so-called Delimitation Commission on Jammu and the ongoing killing spree in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The seminar was chaired by APHC-AJK Convener, Mohammad Farooq Rehmani. APHC-AJK leaders on the occasion strongly denounced the Commission’s report saying the whole exercise was meant to change the demographic character of the occupied territory.

Mohammad Farooq Rehmani said that it was a Hitlarian persecuting campaign and a Zionists’ method to make Jammu and Kashmir a Hindu racist region by destroying under cover of so-called delimitation process. By this sinister design, he said, India is giving a low population Jammu region a clean edge over the densely populous Kashmir Valley.

The report is fraught with formidable dangers and this majority Muslim territory could be turned into a Hindu region within next 5-10 years, he warned. Other members of APHC-AJK also expressed concern about the recent killing spree in different parts of occupied Kashmir. The killing of youth is a policy of RSS-backed BJP to wipe out extraordinarily talented and hardworking youth from Kashmir and make the territory economically weak and dependent on India.

The APHC-AJK leaders said that it’s clear that Hindutva in India and Zionism in Israel were two faces of the same coin. They appealed to the UN Security Council to impress upon India to stop the genocide of innocent Kashmiri youth in IIOJK.

Meanwhile, the APHC-AJK held a condolence meeting to pay condolences to the grieved family of Hurriyat activist, Wali Mohammad Shah, over the death of his wife in Seelo Sopore area of IIOJK. The Hurriyat leaders prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved to bear this loss with patience.
