Hijab being targeted in India for political gain

Nizamabad, February 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Muslim students at Crescent Girls Junior College and School, Golden Jubilee Junior College and Knowledge Park International School in Nizamabad, Telangana, have said, “They will die but will not leave the hijab.” The students, while talking to media outside Press Club in Nizamabad, condemned the ban on hijab in Karnataka and said that hijab is being targeted in India for political gain.

Referring to the verses of the Holy Quran and the provisions of the Indian Constitution, the students said the Constitution has given religious freedom to the followers of different religions but only Muslim women are being targeted which will not be tolerated. On the occasion, the students also lauded the courageous student of Karnataka College, Miskan Khan, who bravely fought the Hindu riots alone.
