Lucknow, December 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):In what depicts extreme professional incompetence of the Indian police, a cop was seen totally unaware of how to load a rifle during surprise inspection. This bizarre scene occurred when the Inspector General of Police (IG) RK Bhardwaj went for a surprise check at Khalilabad police station in Sant Kabir Nagar district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, bringing embarrassment to the Indian force.
Ironically, on being asked to show how to load the rifle, the SI tried to insert a bullet through the rifle’s hose. He can be heard saying, “This is the process to fire in such a way that no one gets injured.” When he was asked to unload the rifle, he simply tilted the gun forward and the bullet slid out.
While all this happened, police officers behind him tried to hold back their giggles. An officer was struggling not to laugh at the sub-inspector and ended up cracking after the bizarre demonstration. As per Indian media reports, during the inspection of various police stations, several policemen were unable to open fire, while the outpost in charge was unable to operate the teargas gun, even after repeated attempts.
