Lahore, June 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released the promo of the short film “Muhafiz” highlighting the days and nights of the police force while the preparations for the screening and release of the film have started. According to the details, a 28-minute long film “Mahafiz” has been made by the personal efforts of the university students who completed their internship in Punjab Police offices, which covers the career and professional struggle of the policemen. The professional and personal life of a dutiful police inspector is depicted and the various challenges, vicissitudes, determination and morale encountered in the police career are highlighted.

Punjab University student Khadim Hussain and fellow students have made it from their own budget, Punjab Police has provided technical and logistical support to the university students in the production of the film. Khadim Hussain, a law student, completed the Punjab Police Internship Program from the Central Police Office. He said that he decided to make a short film to bring out the real facts about the unnecessary criticism of the police and this film will present a glimpse of the life of police jawans full of challenges to the public.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar highly appreciated the wonderful efforts of young students, the trailer of Muhafiz movie was released on social media which has been seen and appreciated by hundreds of fans, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that the screening of Muhafiz movie will be done soon.
