Ottawa: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Canada, Muhammad Saleem, has emphasized the potential for increased collaboration between Pakistan and Canada in the engineering and other high-tech sectors. During an interactive session with engineering professionals and alumni from Pakistan’s Universities of Engineering and Technology, the High Commissioner acknowledged the significant contributions of Pakistani-origin professionals to Canada’s socio-economic development.
According to Radio Pakistan, Saleem’s remarks were made at a gathering primarily attended by Ottawa-based engineers. The High Commissioner underscored the critical role that Pakistani-Canadian professionals play in the growth of Canada and expressed optimism about further strengthening ties between the two countries in advanced technology fields.
