According to Kashmir Media Service, that the deployment is part of a series of security measures implemented in these districts to facilitate the Defence Minister’s visit. Officials have indicated that these arrangements include searches and other security-related activities aimed at ensuring the visit’s smooth conduct.
In a related development, mobile internet services have been suspended for the fifth consecutive day in Rajouri and Poonch. This suspension was initiated following the death of three civilians in the custody of Indian troops, occurring during the night between Friday and Saturday.
