Health Minister Underscores Collaborative Efforts to Boost Pakistan’s Health Sector

ISLAMABAD, In a concerted effort to enhance the health sector, Caretaker Minister for Health Dr. Nadeem Jan outlined the government’s initiatives which are being carried out in collaboration with provincial authorities. Speaking at an event in the capital, Dr. Jan detailed plans for upgrading health facilities across the country.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Jan praised the World Health Organization’s efforts in aiding Pakistan to eradicate polio and its continued support for the health sector. The Minister conveyed that the government is committed to digitalizing the health sector at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, and is engaging with international partners like USAID and the British government to channel resources into these efforts.
