Heads of Diplomatic Mission’s Spouses Group pay visit to the School for Rehabilitation of Child Labour run by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal in Islamabad 

Islamabad, December 08, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Heads of Diplomatic Mission’s Spouses Group pays visit to the School for Rehabilitation of Child Labour run by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) in Islamabad. Managing Director PBM, Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar welcomed the distinguished guests and gave a detailed briefing about the PBM’s poor friendly initiatives being taken under Prime Minister’s Ehsaas Program, to uplift the lives of vulnerable community of the country.

Managing Director PBM told that PBM is running 159 Schools throughout the country to pull out the children from bonded labour and to impart them education. These children are also provided pocket money on daily basis while monthly stipends are also given to their parents. Moreover, uniform, books, stationary, healthcare and hair cutting facility is also available to these children free of charge.

The dignitaries appreciated the initiative and also vowed to carry out the social services in the country along with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal. The spouses of Ambassadors from different countries visited all the class rooms and made conversation with the students. The Heads of Diplomatic Mission’s Spouses Group also distributed sweets and books among the students.
