HBFC Pensioners Meet with Caretaker Minister for Privatisation in Islamabad

Islamabad, Representatives of House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFC) pensioners met with Fawad Hasan Fawad, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Privatisation, at the Privatisation Division. The meeting focused on discussing the pensioners’ concerns related to the privatisation of HBFC.

According to Privatisation Commission, the delegation of HBFC pensioners conveyed their apprehensions about the impact of HBFC’s privatisation on their rights and benefits. The minister assured the pensioners that the government is committed to protecting their rights and interests throughout the privatisation process. Recognizing their concerns, he directed the Secretary of the Privatisation Commission to obtain feedback from HBFC management regarding the pensioners’ grievances, especially those related to pension increases.
