Lucknow, August 26, 2023 (PPI-OT):In yet another incident of hate crime, a female school teacher in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has subjected a seven-year-old Muslim student to degrading treatment inside a classroom.
A disturbing video viral on social media showed Trapta Tyagi, the teacher at Neha Public School in Kubbapur village, 30km from Muzaffarnagar town, making Islamophobic remarks in addition to encouraging Hindu students to slap the Muslim student harder.
“I have declared jitne bhi Mohammedan (Muslim) bachhe hai…” the teacher said on the camera encouraging Hindu students to thrash the Muslim kid in the class.
