Harvard Business School Students Meet Pakistan’s Army Chief to Discuss Regional Stability and Misinformation

Islamabad: A group of 44 students from Harvard Business School, representing nine countries, met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, at the General Headquarters today. The meeting focused on Pakistan’s role in regional peace, its counter-terrorism efforts, and its democratic commitments.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the session allowed General Munir to emphasize the importance of education, critical thinking, and innovation in tackling modern security challenges. He encouraged the students to form unbiased views through firsthand experiences and cautioned them about the challenges posed by misinformation in today’s digital landscape.

The students from Harvard expressed appreciation for the opportunity to gain insights directly from Pakistan’s military leadership, marking another significant engagement by the COAS with international academic delegations following a similar interaction earlier in the month. These meetings highlight the COAS’s ongoing efforts to foster dialogue and understanding with the global academic community.
