Hanif Abbasi Meets Rawalpindi Traders, Promises Railway Improvements


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Railways, Hanif Abbasi, met with leaders of the Central Traders Association of Rawalpindi, who offered congratulations on his recent appointment. During the meeting, the minister emphasized his commitment to the development of the country and welfare of the people.



The traders, including President Malik Shahid Ghafoor Paracha, Senior Vice President Rana K. Mahmood, and Vice President Saifullah Khan, expressed their support for Abbasi’s leadership. Abbasi articulated his dedication to improving transportation services, announcing the inauguration of a shuttle train for Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan, with more projects on the horizon.



Abbasi highlighted the government’s efforts to reduce inflation and enhance travel facilities. He acknowledged the guidance of the Prime Minister in his work and expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him. The minister also called for collective efforts towards the country’s prosperity, stressing the importance of working beyond financial aid.



The traders assured Abbasi of their cooperation, which he welcomed as essential for the success of upcoming projects. Abbasi noted ongoing improvements in railway hospitals and educational institutions, aiming to provide better health and education facilities for the public.
