Karachi, July 24, 2023 (PPI-OT): The leader of Pakistan People’s Party, former opposition leader KMC and Mayor Karachi’s spokesperson for political affairs Karamullah Waqasi has said that Hafiz Naeemur Rehman should not try to fool the citizens by telling lies. After the rain in Karachi, water did not stay in any area of the city. Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, because of his personal ego, is busy in shining his politics instead of appreciating the positive works of Mayor Karachi. Karamullah Waqasi said that Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab and his team are working day and night and after the rain yesterday in Karachi, Mayor Karachi and the whole team remained active due to which the citizens did not face any problems.
Due to the work of green line in some areas of Surjani and central district, complaints were received about water accumulation at some places, on which immediate action was taken to ensure drainage. The mayor of Karachi and his team are working 24 hours but Hafiz Naeemur Rahman does not see the work being done in Karachi. He said that Hafiz Naeem has taken an oath not to sit comfortably in the grief of not getting the mayors chair, so he also tries to get the media attention by playing drama in the council meeting. Karamullah Waqasi said that Hafiz Naeemur Rahman should look out of personalism and negative politics, then he will know that work is being done in Karachi and Insha Allah, PP leadership and Jayale will provide relief to the people day and night to solve all the problems of Shehr-e-quaid.
