Gwadar Schools Face Teacher Shortage, District Administration Pledges Swift Action

Gwadar: During a thorough inspection of Government Girls High School and Government Boys High School of Shambe Ismail, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sarbuland Khan highlighted significant concerns regarding the shortage of science teachers and overall educational quality. The visits, prompted by instructions from Deputy Commissioner Hamudur Rehman, revealed urgent issues that demand immediate attention from the district authorities.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Sarbuland Khan focused his attention on the Government Girls High School, where he noted the absence of science teachers for the critical ninth and tenth grades, despite the presence of around 950 female students. He closely inspected the classrooms and the teaching methods being employed. Emphasizing the need for dedicated and hard-working educators, he instructed the teachers present to uphold these values in their daily educational endeavors.

The situation was similar at the Government Boys High School, where the Additional Deputy Commissioner addressed a general shortage of teaching staff. By engaging with both teachers and students, Khan gained insights into the specific educational challenges faced at the institution. He assured those present that the district administration, under the stewardship of Deputy Commissioner Hamudur Rehman, is fully committed to resolving these issues promptly. Khan underscored the ongoing efforts to enhance educational standards and stressed that improving the quality of education in Gwadar remains a top priority for the local government.
