Gwadar Officials Set New Commercial Standards to Tackle Inflation

Gwadar: In a decisive move to curb inflation and ensure fair pricing within the local market, the Prize Control Committee of Gwadar, led by Assistant Commissioner Mahim Khan Gichki, convened a meeting with various business stakeholders, including hoteliers, poultry and vegetable vendors, and other local merchants. The session resulted in the establishment of new pricing regulations aimed at providing quality goods to citizens at reasonable rates.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during the meeting, Assistant Commissioner Gichki laid out the newly adjusted price rates and mandated all shopkeepers to prominently display these government-approved rates within their establishments. He stressed strict adherence to these standards, warning that any violation would lead to severe penalties in an effort to protect the public from undue price hikes.

Furthermore, Gichki directed shopkeepers to enhance the shopping environment by installing special shade shields in front of their stores along main markets and highways. This initiative aims to improve customer comfort during shopping experiences and to support the community in facing economic challenges effectively.

The session concluded with a positive response from the local business community, who expressed appreciation for the proactive measures introduced by the Assistant Commissioner and committed to complying with the new guidelines to better serve the citizens of Pasni city.
