Gwadar Multi-Purpose Hall Project Progresses Amid Funding Challenges


Gwadar: The construction of a multi-purpose hall in Baloch Ward, a project crucial for local community gatherings and events, is currently underway with significant progress reported, despite some funding issues. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Tabish Ali Baloch inspected the site on special instructions from Deputy Commissioner Hamudur Rehman to review the ongoing work and assess the project’s development, which is vital for enhancing social and cultural activities in the area.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tabish Ali Baloch was satisfied with the current pace and quality of the construction. During his visit, he meticulously evaluated the construction standards and the materials used, ensuring they meet international quality standards. The project is reportedly 50% complete, and the construction team is optimistic about its timely completion.



However, Tabish Ali Baloch also highlighted some challenges, particularly in the timely release of funds necessary for the project’s continuation. He mentioned ongoing discussions with the Finance Department to address these financial hurdles. The district administration remains committed to overcoming these obstacles to provide the community with a state-of-the-art facility that will support a wide range of public activities.



Once completed, the multi-purpose hall will serve as a central venue for various events, contributing significantly to the cultural and social vibrancy of the community. The administration is focused on expediting the completion of this public welfare project, aiming to make it accessible to the local residents as soon as possible.
