Gwadar Hosts Vibrant Summer Cultural Festival Featuring Art and Photography

Gwadar: Under the guidance of Commissioner Makran Daud Khan Khalji and Deputy Commissioner Hamudur Rehman, Gwadar is currently enjoying a rich display of cultural festivities, including a prominent art and photography exhibition at GDA Modern Park.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the event was meticulously organized with Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Sarbuland Khan and Additional Deputy Commissioner General Tabish Ali Baloch overseeing the exhibition. The showcase featured a diverse array of artwork from various local institutions, drawing a significant turnout of residents. The displayed art encompassed a variety of themes, including historical, cultural, and social motifs, with paintings reflecting styles such as realism, impressionism, expressionism, and abstract art.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbuland Khan engaged with artists, discussing the nuanced ways in which they capture and interpret real life and emotional experiences through their art. Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Tabish Ali Baloch spoke to the timeless importance of painting as a form of human expression and cultural identity, emphasizing the community’s role in supporting and promoting the arts. Notable participants included Nasir Rahim Sohrabi from RCDC, who showcased his photography, and Hashim Usman along with Shahina Rashid and their team from the Gwadar School of Art, who presented their creative works, enriching the cultural tapestry of the event.
