Gwadar: In a recent push to enhance the education sector in Gwadar district, the local government under Deputy Commissioner Hamudur Rahman is taking significant steps to ensure basic educational facilities are available to all students despite facing resource constraints. The focus has been on improving the infrastructure and addressing staffing shortages at local schools.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sir Buland Khan recently visited the Government Girls Middle School Zarbar to assess its current state and discuss ongoing challenges. The school, which has transitioned from a primary to a middle school, reportedly lacks sufficient classrooms and teaching staff to meet the needs of its students. Furthermore, the school lacks appropriate shelter facilities for assemblies, particularly problematic during the hot summer months.
During his visit, Sir Buland Khan engaged with the school’s in-charge to better understand these issues. He committed to prioritizing the provision of necessary resources to create a conducive learning environment. These efforts are part of a broader initiative by the Balochistan government to stabilize and improve the quality of education across the district, ultimately aiming to enhance the overall education system.
