Gwadar: Following directives from Commissioner Makran Daud Khan Khalji, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Hamudur Rahman issued a stern notice to government and semi-government employees regarding their conduct on social media. The notice outlines a strict prohibition against expressing political views or spreading materials deemed hostile towards the state on any electronic or social media platforms.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the notice emphasizes that such behavior contravenes the responsibilities of public servants and poses risks to the security and stability of the state. It further stated that the identities of any government employees found in violation of these directives must be reported within three days, so appropriate legal actions can be taken under the Balochistan Employees Performance and Discipline Act of 2011.
Deputy Commissioner Rahman highlighted the importance of maintaining professionalism and restraint, asserting that the government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards any actions that compromise the state’s integrity and peace. The warning reflects the administration’s commitment to uphold the highest standards of conduct among its employees to ensure the continued security and stability of the region.
