Gwadar: The Deputy Commissioner’s Summer Sports Festival and cultural programs, spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Hamudur Rehman, are currently captivating the local community with a variety of events aimed at promoting regional heritage and engaging the youth.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the festival features events supervised by the district administration, with Assistant Commissioner Mir Jawad Ahmad Zahri recently visiting a wall art painting event. During his visit, Zahri met with artists and organizers, expressing admiration for their work and reaffirming the administration’s support for the arts.
He emphasized the crucial role of fine arts in preserving the social, cultural, and religious facets of the region’s heritage, particularly in a time before digital and modern technologies. The ongoing festival not only showcases the talents of local youth but also plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the cultural identity of Gwadar.
