Greetings from APHC leaders continue to pour in on Pakistan Day

Srinagar, March 23, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders continue to greet people as well as Government of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day, today. Illegally detained APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, in a message form New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail said Pakistan has a political importance in the Muslim world and this country is centre of hope not only for the Muslims of sub-continent but for the whole world. He said that unparalleled sacrifices were offered for the creation of Pakistan and the country has proven to be a great blessing for the Muslims. He also expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its continued political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmir cause.

Other APHC leaders including Khadim Hussain, Syed Sibte Shabbir Qummi and Maulana Pir Sajid Nadvi in their statements maintained that the Kashmiris and Pakistanis are connected in a great relationship of religion and no power in the world can end this bond. They said that almost a month before the creation of Pakistan, the Kashmiri representative leadership during a meeting in Srinagar on July 19, 1947, had passed the ‘Accession to Pakistan’ resolution declaring that Jammu and Kashmir will be part of the Muslim country, but India, under a planned conspiracy, landed its troops at the Srinagar airport on October 27, 1947, and illegally occupied the territory of Jammu and Kashmir against the will of Kashmiri people. They said that since then, the Kashmiris are creating an unprecedented history of sacrifices against the Indian illegal occupation.

The APHC leaders said Pakistan is not only an important party to the Kashmir dispute, but it is a strong supporter and advocate of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. They said that the statement of Pakistan Army Chief, General Syed Asim Munir, in which he has urged the international community to ensure justice and deliver what is promised to the Kashmiri people as per the UN resolutions is a source of strength for the oppressed people of IIOJK.

The APHC leaders said, Pakistan is the only Muslim country in the world which openly supports the right to self-determination of Kashmiris and helps them on political, diplomatic and moral fronts. They said this is the reason that people of Kashmir are extremely thankful to Pakistan for that and they love and pray for its prosperity. They hoped that people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir would soon get freedom from Indian yoke and would celebrate the Pakistan Day the way it is celebrated by the people of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, APHC-AJK leaders including Syed Yousuf Naseem and Gulshan Ahmed in their statements in Islamabad said, the people of Pakistan and Kashmir are one nation with geographic, cultural, religious, social, demographic and historic similarities. They said that the Kashmiri people consider Pakistan and its armed forces as their saviours and the day when Jammu and Kashmir will become a part of Pakistan is not far away. They maintained that the timely statement of the Pakistan Army Chief calling for resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolutions has boosted the morale of the Kashmiris engaged in a just struggle to secure freedom from Indian subjugation.
