Islamabad, December 27, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says the government is utilizing all available resources to provide basic amenities to minorities and protect their rights. Addressing a Christmas cake-cutting ceremony in Faisalabad, he said minorities are completely free to practice their religious rituals in the country.
Farrukh Habib said the government is promoting religious harmony which would not only attract foreigners to visit their religious sites in Pakistan but also to enjoy the beauty and cultural harmony of our society. He said the people of Christian community and other minorities have also been included in the health card scheme started in Punjab. He said the card holders would be entitled to get free-treatment up to one million rupees per annum from hospitals of their own choice.
