Dera Ghazi Khan: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to equitable development across the nation, emphasizing a comprehensive network of projects aimed at fostering progress and prosperity. Speaking at a public event, the Prime Minister highlighted the administration’s achievements in stabilizing the economy and outlined future plans to bolster key sectors.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif addressed the crowd in Dera Ghazi Khan, highlighting the importance of strengthening agriculture and industry to enhance exports and create employment opportunities. He underscored the government’s focus on ensuring uniform growth and prosperity for all regions.
During his speech, the Prime Minister, speaking in the local Saraiki dialect, expressed a personal connection to the area, referencing his relationship with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He asserted that a new era of progress has begun, promising increased job opportunities for the youth in the region.
Prime Minister Sharif also emphasized the necessity of peace for development, paying tribute to the sacrifices made by security personnel in the fight against terrorism. He announced the establishment of a cancer hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan and a new university in Rajan Pur, signaling concrete steps toward regional development.
