Islamabad: The government of Pakistan is in the process of developing a comprehensive strategy to revamp Radio Pakistan, announced Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar. During the inauguration of the Media Cricket League 2025 in Islamabad, Tarar emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting sports and positive activities nationwide as part of the “Uraan Pakistan” program.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar highlighted the significance of the upcoming year, 2025, as a period of promise for the country, with anticipated positive developments. He noted Pakistan’s role as the host of the ICC Champions Trophy, showcasing the nation’s capability to organize significant international events. Tarar also referenced the successful hosting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit as evidence of Pakistan’s organizational capacity.
Addressing media inquiries, Tarar outlined the government’s initiative to revamp Radio Pakistan, which includes the revival of live cricket commentary. On political matters, he projected 2025 as a year of political stability, advocating for dialogue and negotiation as democratic solutions to issues. Discussing the economy, Tarar mentioned recognition from political opponents regarding the country’s economic stability, citing strong performance in the Stock Exchange and positive economic indicators. He stressed that further economic stabilization requires unity and collaborative efforts.
