Islamabad, April 30, 2023 (PPI-OT):Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says it would be better to hold elections simultaneously in the entire country. Addressing an Eid Millan dinner in Lahore, he said no political party is avoiding the election, however at this time, the issue is whether elections should be held in Punjab after completion of 90 days or it should be held simultaneously in the entire country. The Minister said when PML-N came into power in 2013, there were explosions and terrorism was going on for 15 years and they defeated it in three years.
He said the incumbent government has again promised to strengthen the economy, for which it’s working hard. Ahsan Iqbal said for this purpose, the government is focused on increasing the exports, and if it crosses 100 billion dollars in eight to ten years, our economy will take-off. The Minister said Pakistan can become a digital country, for which it is inevitable to take advantage of the power of youth through IT sector.
