Govt Emphasizes Youth Empowerment Through Education and Technology: Tarar

LAHORE: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, highlighted the government’s commitment to empowering the youth through education during a convocation at Leads University. Speaking via video link, he emphasized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision of equipping young people with the education necessary to become self-reliant.

Tarar noted that approximately 60 percent of Pakistan’s population is comprised of youth, making their empowerment a top governmental priority. A key initiative in this effort is the distribution of 100,000 laptops to talented students. This move aims to enhance their skills and provide better opportunities, ultimately contributing to national development.

The Minister extended his congratulations to the graduating students and their parents, offering his best wishes for their future pursuits. He also commended the faculty and staff of Leads University for their dedication to providing quality education, recognizing the significance of the teaching profession.
