Governors of Sindh and Balochistan Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Provincial Development in Karachi

Karachi: The Governors of Sindh and Balochistan convened at the Governor House in Karachi to discuss important matters including the role of the federal government in provincial development, bilateral cooperation, and the exchange of delegations aimed at enhancing interprovincial coordination. The meeting highlighted several ongoing initiatives and projects under the leadership of both governors.

According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting between Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri and Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandukhel was marked by detailed discussions on the federation’s role in nurturing provincial growth, the benefits of bilateral exchanges, and the promotion of cooperation between the provinces. Governor Tesuri emphasized the Prime Minister’s focused interest in Karachi’s development and suggested that sharing delegations with Balochistan could be mutually beneficial.

During the meeting, Governor Tesuri briefed Governor Mandukhel on various projects initiated under his governance. In response, Governor Mandukhel expressed admiration for the initiatives, particularly the IT classes being conducted as part of the educational outreach. He mentioned that these projects set a commendable example for others.

The visit also included Governor Mandukhel participating in the tree planting campaign at the Governor’s House, where he planted a sapling. Additionally, he had the opportunity to interact with students and ring the “Bell of Hope,” a symbol introduced by Governor Tesuri to promote optimism and communal harmony.

Governor Mandukhel also reviewed and lauded the ration bag initiative by Governor Tesuri, designed to aid the underprivileged segments of the province. The meeting underscored the importance of continued collaboration and knowledge exchange between the provinces to achieve comprehensive regional development.
