Karachi: A significant meeting was held at the Sindh Governor House where a delegation of Ulemas and eminent Sheikhs discussed the celebration of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi and the illumination of the Governor House throughout the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and special guest, Balochistan Governor Jafar Khan Mandukhel, emphasized the religious significance and public engagement during these celebrations.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the gathering focused on the upcoming religious festivities. Governor Kamran Tesori highlighted that the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal would be celebrated with great devotion and respect. He announced that the Governor House in Karachi is set to be lit up for the entire month, providing a beacon of celebration. Additionally, a public program for Eid Milad-ul-Nabi is scheduled for September 14 at the Governor House.
Governor Jafar Khan Mandukhel also spoke at the event, reflecting on the virtues of the Prophet Muhammad as a merciful leader and an exemplar of good morals, justice, fairness, and humanitarianism for all of humanity. Both governors expressed their commitment to upholding these values during the celebrations and throughout their governance.
The meeting underscores the importance of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi in promoting unity and moral values across communities and highlights the collaborative efforts of the Sindh and Balochistan governments in commemorating this significant event.
