Karachi: Governor Kamran Khan Tesori of Sindh expressed optimism about Pakistan’s economic future, citing forthcoming implementations of agreements with allied nations that could lead to an exit from the IMF program. His remarks came during a visit to Indus Motor Company, where he discussed industrial policies and energy solutions.
According to Sindh Governor House, during his visit, Governor Tesori toured the company’s facilities and praised its contributions to the global automotive industry, including its educational and health initiatives. He advocated for a long-term industrial policy and highlighted alternative energy solutions, like solar and Thar coal, as means to resolve electricity issues. Furthermore, the Governor announced that he has requested special electricity packages for the public from both the Federation and the Chief Minister of Sindh. His visit also included a ceremonial tree planting as part of an ongoing environmental campaign.
