Karachi, December 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori watched the match of the third day of the third Test match between Pakistan and England at the National Stadium. Governor Sindh visited different parts of the stadium and also interacted with the cricket fans present there. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Governor Sindh said that after seventeen years, the Pakistan and UK teams are playing a Test match at the National Stadium in Karachi and I have come here to support the Pakistan team, winning and losing. It is welcome to have the match at the National Stadium after seventeen years.
Karachi is going to become the city of lights again and every effort will be made to continue these matches in Pakistan, especially in Karachi, because the people of Karachi are very fond of cricket and people will come to watch the matches in the same way in the future. It is a welcome thing for Pakistan, for the economy of Pakistan and for the people of Karachi city. In response to a question, the Sindh Governor said that due to the high security, people are worried, that’s why the security plan needs to be revisited because people want to come and watch the match due to the tight security. Governor Sindh apologized to the cricket fans for causing trouble.
He further said that efforts will be made to organize the security plan in such a way that people are least disturbed. In response to another question, Governor Sindh said that the work on Safe City is going on, obviously when the cameras are installed, such obstacles will not be visible. We are behind in many matters, but there is an effort and intention and intention to reduce this distance as soon as possible so that we can restore the splendour of the city of Karachi and the whole of Pakistan.
