Karachi, A delegation of the Chase Federation of Pakistan, led by President Hanif Qureshi, met with Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori at the Governor’s House. The meeting included players from Sindh selected for the Asian Youth Chess Championship and focused on promoting chess in the province.
According to Sindh Governor House, the discussion revolved around attracting students to chess, providing facilities to players, and other related issues. Governor Tesori praised the performance of Pakistani players at the junior level and acknowledged the historical significance of chess in Sindh’s ancient history. He expressed his commitment to supporting the development of chess in the province. President Hanif Qureshi highlighted the remarkable achievements of Pakistani chess players over the past year.
