Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri has announced the initiation of a scholarship program aimed at facilitating the overseas education of local youths. The program, part of a broader initiative to enhance career prospects and promote international exposure for Pakistani students, was unveiled during a press conference at the Governor House.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri highlighted the scholarship’s potential to prepare young individuals for future leadership roles. He emphasized the establishment of a dedicated cell at the Governor House to oversee the program and provide necessary support to the prospective students. The Governor expressed his personal commitment to monitoring the initiative closely, ensuring its alignment with the state’s educational objectives.
The discussion also covered various other efforts by the Governor House to support local communities, including free IT training for 50,000 youths and financial loans for entrepreneurial projects. Furthermore, Governor Tesuri reiterated the ongoing distribution of ration bags and the unique provision of replacement bikes for theft victims under specified conditions. The Governor stressed the self-funded nature of these projects, with no financial burdens placed on the Sindh government.
Governor Tesuri also reflected on the broader economic challenges facing Pakistan, advocating for a collective effort to surmount these issues. He called for unity and proactive engagement from all societal sectors to bolster the country’s economic resilience.
