Karachi, Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tesori, has embarked on a significant visit to Iran, where he was warmly received by high officials upon his arrival in Mashhad. A key highlight of his visit includes inaugurating the Iran Export 2024 event in Chabahar.

According to Sindh Governor House, Tesori’s visit to Iran is marked by several important engagements. Accompanied by the Iranian ambassador and consul general, the Governor’s visit is seen as a sign of deepening bilateral relations between Sindh and Iran. At Mashhad airport, Tesori was greeted by high officials of Iran, underlining the importance of his visit.

During his stay in Mashhad, Governor Sindh visited the shrine of Imam Ali Raza (a.s.) and recited Fatiha. He also took the opportunity to pray for the development and prosperity of Pakistan, reflecting the spiritual significance of his visit.

The inauguration of Iran Export 2024 in Chabahar by Governor Sindh is expected to be a notable event, symbolizing the growing economic ties and cooperation between Sindh and Iran. This event is particularly significant as it showcases the potential for increased trade and export opportunities between the two regions.

Islamabad, Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf, emphasized the crucial role of media in connecting Parliament with the people, highlighting its significance in informing the public about parliamentary activities. His remarks came during the inauguration of a new office designed to aid members of the Parliamentary Reporter’s Association (PRA) at the Parliament House in Islamabad.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Ashraf underscored the importance of Parliamentary Reporting in raising public awareness about the activities within the Parliament. He acknowledged the efforts of the PRA members, who have consistently been at the forefront in fulfilling their duties of reporting and disseminating information about parliamentary proceedings.

Speaker Ashraf also reflected on the broader role of Parliament as the embodiment of the people’s will and aspirations. He stressed the collective responsibility to maintain the sanctity of the Parliament, underscoring its position as the cornerstone of power and responsibility among various institutions.

The inauguration of the new office for PRA members signifies a step towards enhancing the resources available to parliamentary reporters. Islamabad, The Leader of the House in the Senate, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, emphasized the deep and strategic partnership between Pakistan and China during an interactive meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E Jiang Zaidong, at the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad.



According to Senate of Pakistan, Senator Dar visited the Chinese Embassy on Ambassador Jiang’s invitation. The meeting focused on exploring various avenues to enhance the existing economic and strategic cooperation between Pakistan and China. Senator Dar highlighted the critical importance of this partnership for the prosperity, well-being, peace, and stability of the two nations and the broader region.



Senator Dar expressed gratitude for China’s continuous support to Pakistan in various sectors, including during crises and natural calamities. He noted the significant potential to expand collaboration in agriculture, trade, investment, IT, and financial sectors.



Ambassador Jiang reciprocated these sentiments of goodwill and friendship. He agreed that the Pak-China relationship, often referred to as an iron brotherhood, is pivotal for regional and global peace, stability, and shared prosperity. Ambassador Jiang also acknowledged Senator Dar’s previous contributions as Finance Minister of Pakistan in strengthening the multi-faceted cooperation between the two countries. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to working closely with Pakistan and its next elected government post-February 2024 elections, particularly in advancing projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that aim to promote inclusive and shared development in the region.
