Karachi, September 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori laid the foundation stone of Jeffco Ground in North Nazimabad. Speaking on the occasion, the Sindh Governor said that the construction of this ground in Karachi, the city of lights, is a commendable initiative. Healthy activities will get a boost; such measures need to be taken on a priority basis for the beauty of the city. He added that the construction of the park is a wonderful gift to the citizens, the development and prosperity of Karachi and making it green is my mission. He said that maintaining the beauty of Karachi is the responsibility of all of us, let’s pledge that everyone will do their part in restoring the beauty of the city.

Tesuri said that when the construction work of the park was about to be inaugurated, the Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi and the member of the coordination committee of MQM called Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said not to go and Rauf Siddiqui of MQM said to come. I ask both of them to build this family park in the interest of the people. If there is a problem of funds, I am personally ready to bear the expenses of this park. We need to take such steps on a priority basis for the beauty of the city.
