Karachi: At the launch of LONGI’s new solar products, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the pivotal role of advanced solar technology in boosting national production and fostering economic growth amidst Pakistan’s ongoing energy challenges. The event, held on Thursday, spotlighted the potential of renewable energy to mitigate the country’s reliance on conventional fuel sources.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori highlighted the significant opportunities for investment in the alternative energy sector within Sindh, particularly in renewable energy projects. He pointed out that the provincial government is actively facilitating these investments by providing support to industrial associations and other stakeholders.
During his address at the launch of LONGI’s solar products Hi-MO 9 and Hi-MO X10, Governor Tesori discussed the strategic importance of such technologies in addressing energy shortages and combating the rising costs of traditional fuels. He underscored the substantial economic and environmental benefits that solar technology can deliver to the region.
The ceremony also included an awards segment, where Governor Tesori distributed shields to companies that have excelled in the renewable energy sector, celebrating their contributions to Sindh’s energy landscape.
