Governor Sindh Inaugurates REAP Facilitation Cell in Karachi to Aid Rice Exporters

Karachi: In a move to streamline and support the rice export industry in Sindh, Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri has inaugurated the REAP Facilitation Cell at the Governor House. The establishment of this cell aims to address and resolve the issues faced by the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) promptly.

According to Sindh Governor House, the decision to set up the REAP Facilitation Cell was announced by Governor Tesuri during a recent award ceremony held at the Governor House for rice exporters. The cell is designed to operate under the direct oversight of the Governor’s office, emphasizing the significant emphasis on enhancing the efficiency of rice exports from the region.

Furthermore, to ensure effective problem-solving, a three-member committee comprised of senior officers from the Governor’s House has been formed. This committee is tasked with identifying and resolving any governmental hurdles faced by rice exporters, thereby facilitating smoother and more efficient export operations.

The establishment of the REAP Facilation Cell and the formation of the dedicated committee reflect the Sindh government’s commitment to bolstering economic activities in the province by supporting key sectors such as rice exportation.
