Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori inaugurated the martyrs’ monument, “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos,” at the Governor House in Karachi, marking a tribute to the successful military operation of the same name. Special prayers were offered to honor the ranks of the martyrs during the ceremony.
Addressing the media at the event, Governor Tessori praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for bringing global pride to the nation. He attributed the operation’s historic success to the dedication and leadership of the soldiers and officers involved.
Governor Tessori highlighted the thwarting of regional dominance ambitions by the Pakistan Armed Forces, emphasizing the significance of the events on May 10, which he described as a decisive battle between truth and falsehood.
He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability, asserting that the nation will not compromise on the Kashmir issue or accept India’s unilateral decisions concerning water resources. Tessori distinguished Pakistan’s opposition to the extremist ideology of Indian Prime Minister Modi from its stance on the Indian populace.
The Governor underscored the importance of economic revival, advocating for foreign investment to bolster Pakistan’s economy and reduce reliance on IMF loans. He acknowledged the Bohra community’s assistance in addressing national debt and called on the business community to enhance trade relations with Turkey and other allied nations.
