Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori expressed gratitude to the Chief Justice for responding to his appeal regarding traffic accidents, as he addressed a press conference at the Governor House. The event, attended by more than 150 families affected by tanker and dumper accidents, also included the distribution of ration bags to those in need.

Governor Tesori emphasized the importance of bringing justice to the victims’ families, following the Supreme Court’s acknowledgment of his letter concerning heavy traffic incidents. He assured the families that the culprits responsible for these accidents would be held accountable.

During the press conference, Governor Tesori condemned political maneuvering in the wake of these tragedies, stressing that Karachi could not endure further unrest. He recounted his visits to the victims’ homes, offering consolation and assistance, and affirmed his commitment to prioritizing support over political agendas.

The governor announced plans to provide plots, financial aid, and educational support to the affected families. He stated that the focus would remain on ensuring good health, education, and employment opportunities for the victims, without any political exploitation.
