Governor Sindh Commends Seylani Welfare Trust for Exemplary Service


Karachi, During a visit to Seylani Welfare Trust, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori lauded the institution for its substantial contributions to assisting the underprivileged segments of society. The visit, which included Federal Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, aimed to showcase and support the essential services provided by such welfare organizations.



According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori and Minister Siddiqui were guided through various departments of the Trust by Maulana Bashir Farooqui, Patron-in-Chief of Seylani Welfare. The Governor expressed admiration for the Trust’s efforts and discussed the significant role of educational and welfare institutions in community support. He particularly highlighted a new initiative aimed at ensuring no child attends school hungry and emphasized the expansion of IT education as a crucial step toward enhancing food security and educational opportunities.



The visit also marked the announcement of a project to transform 10 schools in Karachi into model schools, offering comprehensive educational, medical, and extracurricular activities. This initiative aligns with the Governor’s vision of holistic development for the youth of Sindh, supported by collaborative efforts in the education sector.
