Karachi: Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tesuri, marked the 101st anniversary of Turkey by hoisting the Turkish flag at the Karachi Press Club Chowk, also known as Fawara Chowk. The event featured a display of fireworks and highlighted the strong relationship between Pakistan and Turkey. The Turkish Consul General, Cemal Sangu, and other dignitaries were in attendance as the Governor extended his congratulations to the Turkish people.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri emphasized the symbolic significance of the event, noting that the display of both Pakistani and Turkish flags represented the strong bilateral relations between the two nations. He remarked on the emotional bond that the Pakistani nation shares with Turkey, a brotherly Islamic country. The Governor also acknowledged Turkey’s support for Pakistan during challenging times.
