Karachi: In a meeting at the Governor’s House, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori and the newly appointed Ambassador of Sweden, Ms. Alexandra Berg Von Linde, discussed Pakistan-Sweden bilateral relations, investment opportunities, and the potential for increased trade. The meeting also covered other matters of mutual interest.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori extended his congratulations to Ambassador Von Linde on her appointment and expressed his best wishes. In a statement to the media, Governor Tesori emphasized the growing stability of Pakistan-Sweden relations and encouraged Swedish investors to consider investing in Sindh, highlighting the province’s attractive sectors and skilled youth workforce as key advantages. Ambassador Von Linde noted the keen interest of Swedish investors in various sectors within the province.
During her visit, the Ambassador inspected historical items related to Quaid-e-Azam, took part in a tree-planting campaign, and shared her thoughts in the Governor’s House guest book. She also expressed admiration for the “Bell of Hope,” a symbolic initiative aimed at addressing local issues. Additionally, Ambassador Von Linde visited an IT marquee and commended the Governor’s initiative to offer modern course training to youth, recognizing it as a step towards securing their future. Her visit to a ration marquee included an inspection of the items in ration bags, where she praised the initiative’s impact.
