Karachi, In a crucial meeting at the Governor House, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri and Caretaker Provincial Interior Minister Brigadier (retd) Harith Nawaz convened to deliberate on the law and order situation in the province, with a particular focus on strategies to combat street crime in Karachi and ensure security during the upcoming general elections.
According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting encompassed a wide range of topics, including the implementation of effective strategies for the elimination of street crime and the protection of citizens’ lives and property. Governor Tesuri emphasized the necessity of an efficient approach to address the challenges faced by Karachi, often referred to as Shahr Quaid.
The discussion highlighted the importance of increasing police patrolling and leveraging technology such as CCTV cameras to control street crime. Additionally, the meeting underscored the need for foolproof security measures to safeguard the integrity of the upcoming general elections.
