Karachi, In a notable act of support for victims of street crimes, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori distributed motorbikes to individuals who had suffered losses due to thefts and robberies in Karachi. The initiative, aimed at providing relief and a measure of compensation, saw 208 victims receiving new motorcycles in a ceremony that underscored the Governor’s commitment to public welfare and safety.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori announced the plan to continue this support in phases, highlighting that the initiative is funded without utilizing government resources. Emphasizing his dedication to enhancing the well-being of the populace, the Governor expressed pride in being referred to as the “People’s Governor,” attributing his actions to a sense of moral responsibility and the hard work of his team, which is available around the clock to assist those in need.
In addition to addressing the immediate needs of street crime victims, Governor Tesori spoke on broader initiatives aimed at propelling Sindh’s youth forward, particularly in the field of information technology. He shed light on the ongoing IT classes that have garnered significant participation and enthusiasm from around 50,000 students, dismissing any rumors that questioned the legitimacy or effectiveness of these educational programs.
