Governor Sindh Advocates for Human Rights on International Human Rights Day

Karachi, In a message marking International Human Rights Day, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri called for the protection of human rights as a fundamental duty of every state, transcending color, caste, and religion. He emphasized the necessity for societal progress through the upholding of these rights and highlighted the plight of individuals in Occupied Kashmir and Palestine.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri urged the members of the United Nations to intervene and stop the violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir and Palestine. His message reflects a broader concern for global human rights issues, aligning with the principles laid out by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the father of the nation, regarding the protection of rights for every citizen of Pakistan.

The Governor also addressed the status of minority populations, stating that they have ample opportunities to progress in every aspect of life. This statement underlines his commitment to ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all citizens, a cornerstone of human rights principles.
